I just wanted to introduce myself and my family! We are the Hutton's - I am Abby, my husband is Keith and our son is Logan. We are a fun family who loves to be together!! We all have a love for God and a desire to be close to him however, we just arrived in Okinawa Japan and have not located a church home thus far. I have a strong connection to God and the church I was raised to worship God. I went to Ski Invasion in 1997 when I was 16 and received God as my savior and have been saved since. I have often backslid and have asked God continually for forgiveness - and he always shows me mercy and how much he loves me. I was able to be involved in the mission field in 1998 and 1999 we went to Matamoros Mexico! This was the most intimate I have ever been with God as we ministered to the poorest communities and watched God deliver them from their hard circumstances. I have continued to speak to God and I enter into a time of worship with him almost daily. I admit that I do not read the word as much as I should - and I have failed to attend church every week. Even though I have fell short on those areas I still feel a strong desire to be closer to the Lord. I feel this the most when I am worshipping the Lord - I had the opportunity to be a part of a dance team who worshipped God through dance. We danced all styles, my gift to the Lord was in Lyrical Ballet - I still long for the ability to dance again. I feel during those 5 years dancing with those other women God really gave me the gift of Dance and the love for worship. I can not get enough of it - I love to sing to God and love how he wraps his arms around me when I allow myself to be completely vulnerable to him. I am looking forward to what he has in store for my family in Japan - and am going to keep an open mind! I also am looking forward to meeting all of you - and can not wait to hear your stories of faith! Take care!
